PUZZLE NO. 157 : Antiknight - Non Consecutive Sudoku

 


RULES : Classic sudoku rules apply. Additionally, orthogonally adjacent cells cannot contain consecutive digits. Also, a digit cannot repeat in a cell which is at a knight's step ( as in chess ) from itself.

  1. 28:34, I was stuck for almost 20 minutes. At last I got 4 in R2C8. It helped me solve the rest comfortably. But, it was brutally hard with a very narrow clue.

    1. Agree. Such sudokus are actually hard as you need to keep both the constraints in mind while solving.

    1. Yes it has a narrow solving path . Moreover keeping both the constraints in mind simultaneously also adds to the solve time

  4. 14:31.Immaculate construction.I was stuck for a long time until I found the (ROT 13 : sbhe va E2P8).That was the breakin for the sudoku and then it just sailed smoothly.
    You can be proud of this construction .Excellent one !
