QUINZE 2

Hi all,
        I will be authoring Quinze 2 , a monthly sudoku test on LMI. The test is open from 31st July 2020 to 5th August 2020. The test contains 2 Classic Sudokus along with 13 variants. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. Instructions booklet can be downloaded here

PUZZLE NO. 152 : Ten Box Sudoku

Today, is my 100th day of posting daily sudokus on my blog. Started this on 1st of April and all these days I have posted 105 sudokus including today's. I will be taking a break from daily posting for this month as there are some other commitments.



RULES : This sudoku is made of 10 rows , 10 columns and 10 3x3 boxes.Place a digit from 1 to 9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 box. The blackened cells do not contain any digits.  Some of the boxes wrap around the edges of the grid.

PUZZLE NO. 150 : Even - Thermo - Consecutive Pairs Hybrid Sudoku



A 150 themed sudoku for the 150th sudoku of my blog

RULES : Classic sudoku rules apply. 
               Cells with grey squares will contain only even digits. 
               If a white circle is given between two adjacent cells , then the numbers in those cells will be consecutive. Not all white circles are given. 
              Additionally, there are some thermometer shapes in the grid. The numbers are in increasing order from the bulb to the flat end on each thermometer. In some of the thermometer shapes, the bulbs are missing. It is for the solver to determine at which end the bulb is for each thermometer.

PUZZLE NO. 149 : Scatterd Kropki Sudoku




This a hybrid of Scattered Sudoku and Kropki Sudoku

RULES : Place a digit from 1 to 9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row , column and outlined region. Grey cells are not part of any regions. 
              Additionally, if the absolute difference between two digits in neighbouring cells equals 1, then they are separated by a white dot. If the digit in a cell is half or double of the digit in a neighbouring cell, then they are separated by a black dot. The dot staying between 1 and 2 can have any of these dots. All possible dots are marked.

RULES : Classic sudoku rules apply. Additionally, in each dotted cage the sum of the odd digits is equal to the sum of the even digit(s). Digits do not repeat within a cage.

PUZZLE NO. 145 : Mirror Consecutive Sudoku



RULES : Classic sudoku rules apply : Digits placed in both pairs of 3x3 blocks in opposite corners must be consecutive relative to the center of the grid. 1 & 9 are also treated as consecutive digits.

PUZZLE NO. 144 : Dual Sudoku ( Odd Sudoku & Even Sudoku )



This is a dual sudoku. It can be solved individually, both as an Odd Sudoku as well as an Even Sudoku.

RULES FOR ODD SUDOKU : Place a digit from 1 to 9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 box. Additionally, the shaded cells will contain only odd digits. Non shaded cells may contain digits of any parity.
