Very nice. I found the SET and the implication instantly this time. After that, I just spent 30 minutes missing obvious deductions. Then I started it all again and everything clicked all right in a matter of 7-8 minutes.

ReplyDeleteOn the one hand, take rows 1, 5 and 9. On the other hand, take columns 2, 5 and 8. Remove the common cells.
You're left with two equivalent sets of 18 digits.
You know by the rows that these sets contain 12 odd digits and 6 even digits. This gives valuable information on the consecutive triplets in the columns.
Bingo ! You got the intended logic.
