RULES : Classic Sudoku rules apply. The given Xs and Vs are all liars. Horizontally or vertically adjacent cells separated by an X add up to either one more or one less than 10, i.e. 11 or 9. Horizontally or vertically adjacent cells separated by a V add up to either one more or one less than 5, i.e. 6 or 4. Converse rule applies , i.e. all possible Xs and Vs are marked.

9 mins, extremely enjoyable solve path.
ReplyDeleteThanks shambo
DeleteOh thanks..this was v interesting:). Initially it was confusing, but then I got the hang of it. Funnily my timing is same in both XVs- Truth or Lie it's 14+mins.
ReplyDeleteVery confusing at first. I broke it twice yesterday. Came back to it today with a fresh mind and solved it in 8:49.
ReplyDeleteNice idea.
Thanks. Yeah , the converse rule plays an important part in this.
Delete9:15.Nice one. Like others had noted, I was also confused at the start with the converse part as to whether the absence of Xs and Vs denote the absence in adjacent cells of 10 & 5 (OR) 9,11 & 4,6. But I understood that it is the latter through box 7
ReplyDeleteThanks Kishore. I felt it would be an interesting concept of having the liar rules with XV rules and also having the converse rule apply. Glad you liked it
Delete9:11, trippy one but fun;
