 A TRIBUTE TO THE LEGEND ROGER FEDERER

Today's Sudoku is a tribute to the greatest - Roger Federer. He announced his retirement from tennis yesterday. With age already having caught up and his body not in full shape, he decided to call it a day. With his retirement, he has left a void, which will be very difficult to fill. He was the most graceful and the most talented of all the tennis players. He finished his career with 20 grand slams and 28 masters 1000. We will always miss his grace, his effortlessness on the court, his one handed backhand shots, his drop shots, him marching towards the net and winning points. His numbers may have been overshadowed by his contemporaries, but his legacy will live on forever.

RULES : Classic Sudoku rules apply. Additionally,

• Thermo Sudoku rules apply; i.e. there are some thermometer shapes in the grid. The digits are in increasing order from the bulb to the flat end of each thermometer.
• Little Killer Sudoku rules apply; i.e. numbers with arrows outside the grid indicate the sum of the digits in the corresponding direction. Digits may repeat in the corresponding direction.
• Sum Sandwich Sudoku rules apply. Clues on top of the grid are Sum Sandwich clues, i.e. they represent the sums of the numbers sandwiched between the 1 and the 9 in that column.
• X Sums Sudoku rules apply. Clues on the bottom of the grid are X Sums clues, i.e. they indicate the sum of the first X digits placed in the corresponding direction, where X is equal to the first digit placed in that direction.

RULES : Classic Sudoku rules apply. Adjacent digits along the green lines have a difference of at least 5. Purple line contains consecutive digits in any order.

RULES : Place a digit from 1 to 9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 box.

RULES : Place a digit from 1 to 8 in each empty cell so that no digit repeats in any row or bold region. Rows in the cube pass through opposite parallel sides of each quadrilateral; in other words, the rows bend across the surface of the apparent cube(s) to travel in a “straight” line. Cells with grey squares contain even digits. Cells with grey circles contain odd digits.

RULES : Classic Sudoku rules apply. The grid represents the Monopoly boardgame. On each side of the board are six properties, shaded in grey. For each side, the values of the properties must increase along the clockwise direction.

RULES : Classic Sudoku rules apply. There are four different lines in the grid. For each line, all palindromic pairs must have the same difference. Two of the lines have the difference of X, while the other two lines have the difference of Y. X and Y must be different and cannot be zero.

RULES : Classic Sudoku rules apply. Clues next to the grid give the sum of the first two digits seen from that direction, labelled A and B. Clues in the grey band further outside the grid give the sum of the digits in position A and B for that row or column.
