PUZZLE NO. 20 : THERMARROW SUDOKU




RULES : Classic sudoku rules apply. The grid is divided into two halves by a diagonal from R9C1 to R1C9 which contains numbers from 1 to 9. One side of the diagonal follows the rules of thermo sudoku. The other side of the diagonal follows the rules of arrow sudoku.

PUZZLE NO. 15 : CLONE TWINS SUDOKU




RULES OF CLONE TWINS

RULES : There are two grids. Classic sudoku rules apply on both . Moreover , both the grids are twins , i.e, they have identical numbers throughout . Some cells are shaded in both the grids. One grid is clone sudoku , i.e. digits in each corresponding cell in both shaded figures are identical . The other grid is consecutive clone sudoku , i.e. digits in each corresponding cells in both shaded figures are consecutive. You have to determine which grid is clone and which is consecutive clone and solve both the grids.

Apply classic sudoku rules . Additionally , the sum of digits on the vertices of each rhombus is a multiple of the digit at the centre of the rhombus.

RULES : Classic sudoku rules apply. Additionally , there are some arrow shapes in the grid. The sum of the digits along the path of each arrow must equal the digit in the circled cell. Digits may repeat along an arrow.

RULES : Classic sudoku rules apply. If a white circle is given between two adjacent cells , then the numbers in those cells will be consecutive. Not all white circles are given , which means adjacent cells without a white circle may or may not contain consecutive numbers.

PUZZLE NO. 05 : ODD EVEN BRIDGE SUDOKU

          


 I had submitted this sudoku for the Puzzle Innovation Contest at the World Sudoku Championship this year. This idea of mine won me the first prize in the Puzzle Innovation Contest. 

RULES : Classic sudoku rules apply. There are some pairs of circles connected by bridges. Each connected pair of circles has one even number and one odd number. The even number denotes the number of even numbers along the bridge and the odd number denotes the number of odd numbers along the bridge. The numbers on the circles are not counted. Numbers can repeat on the bridges.

RULES : Classic sudoku rules apply. Additionally, there are some thermometer shapes in the grid.The numbers are in increasing order from the bulb to the flat end on each thermometer.
