Puzzle No. 462: XV Sudoku

 


RULES: Place a digit from 1 to 9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 outlined box.
If the sum of digits in orthogonally adjacent cells is 10, then they are separated by an X. If the sum of digits in orthogonally adjacent cells is 5, then they are separated by a V. All possible Xs & Vs are marked.

Puzzle No. 457: Rectangular Multiplication Sudoku

 


Rules: Place a digit from 1 to 9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 outlined box.
The cells inside each rectangle form a column multiplication where the two-digit or three-digit number in the second line is equal to the two-digit or three-digit number in the first line multiplied by the given number (reading left to right).

For every outlined 3x3 box that are marked with clues, there are exactly 4 clues in each box, where those clues are the results of math operations (+, -, ×, ÷). All 4 math operations must be used exactly once in each marked box.

Puzzle No. 454: Pointing Arrow Sudoku

 


RULES: Place a digit from 1 to 9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 outlined box.
There are some arrow shapes in the grid. The sum of the digits along the path of each arrow must equal the digit in the circled cell. Digits may repeat along an arrow. 
Each number placed in the cell with a circle appears at least once in the pointing direction starting from the end of the corresponding arrow.

Rules: Place a digit from 1 to 9 in each empty cell so that each digit appears exactly once in each row, column and 3x3 outlined box.
An even digit placed in a cell with a circle indicates the number of even digits placed in the surrounding 8 cells. An odd digit placed in a cell with a circle indicates the number of odd digits placed in the surrounding cells. Digits placed in cells without a circle may have either of these properties.
